Why AI changes what can be automated

Old automations broke as soon as something did not fit the rules. AI can read an email, understand an enquiry, judge how good a lead is and write a sensible reply, which means far more of the job can now run on its own.

I combine that with solid engineering: error handling, logging, alerts and a person in the loop for anything important. Automations that quietly fail are worse than none, so every one I build is tested and monitored.

Before and after

An example of what automating lead handling and reporting typically looks like.

  • Hours on admin each week: 18 before, 5 after
  • Lead follow-up time (minutes): 300 before, 3 after
  • Leads lost or never followed up: 20% before, 2% after
  • Reports built by hand each month: 8 before, 0 after

An example of the kind of change this work aims for, based on typical starting points. It is not a promise or a specific client result: every business starts somewhere different.

How it works

  1. Talk it throughA short call about your business, your goals and where AI could save time or win more customers.
  2. Plan and priceA clear written plan: what gets built or changed, which tools, how long it takes and what it costs.
  3. Build and testSet up on your real data and tested properly, with a person checking the output before anything goes live.
  4. Launch and improveLaunched with tracking, so you can see what AI is adding, then improved month by month.

Questions

What marketing tasks can AI automate?

Lead scoring and routing, follow-up emails, CRM updates, reporting, content drafts, product descriptions, image resizing, ad alerts and sending offline conversions back to ad platforms are the most common.

Do you use n8n, Make or Zapier?

All three, plus custom code on Cloudflare when a job needs it. I pick whatever is most reliable and cheapest to run for your workflow.

What happens if an automation breaks?

Every automation has error handling and alerts, so problems are spotted and fixed quickly rather than failing silently.

Will AI send emails without me checking?

Only if you want it to. Many clients start with AI drafting and a person approving, then let routine messages go automatically once they trust it.

Can you connect my existing tools?

Yes. If a tool has an API or a webhook, it can be connected, and most marketing tools do.
