Why WordPress SEO needs a developer's eye
Installing an SEO plugin is not the same as doing SEO. Many WordPress sites have thin archive pages indexed, duplicate content, slow templates, broken internal links and schema that conflicts between plugins.
Because I build WordPress sites, I can fix the technical problems directly in the theme and server, not just report them. Then the content and structure work builds on solid foundations, so rankings grow and stay.
Before and after
An example of six months of technical and content SEO on a WordPress service site.
- Organic clicks per month: 1,240 before, 3,910 after
- Keywords in the top 10: 38 before, 142 after
- Organic enquiries per month: 11 before, 34 after
An example of the kind of change this work aims for, based on typical starting points. It is not a promise or a specific client result: every business starts somewhere different.

Questions
How long does WordPress SEO take to work?
Technical fixes can show results within weeks. Content and authority build over three to six months, and keep compounding after that.
Yoast or Rank Math?
Both are fine when set up properly. I will work with whichever you have, and make sure it is not fighting with your theme or other plugins.
Do you do local SEO?
Yes. Location pages, Google Business Profile and local schema for businesses serving towns and cities in the UK, the US, Dubai and Australia.
Can you help us appear in AI answers?
Yes. Clear, answer-first content, strong schema and a well-defined business entity all help your site get cited in AI overviews and assistants.
